Istria was and is one of the most popular vacational regions on the Mediterranean Coast. History, culture and sun are combined here in an excellent way. One of the oldest and most famous, even abroad, cities is Pula with its famous Roman Amphitheatre, one of the greatest of its time.
Pula is a wonderful city for a choir exchange, where the hot temper of the Balkans gets trasmitted over to the participants! Enjoy at the most beautiful time of the year with a boat trip and many other tours, or with extensions to Trieste or Venice.
Concerts are open-air in the pedestrian zone of Pula and open-air or in concert halls in Rovinj, the famous fishing village, about 30 km North from Pula. The audience is composed of inhabitants and tourists, who for sure enjoy the music anywhere.
The last highlight is the farewell-dinner in one of the hotels overlooking directly the sea. A delicious buffet, with included drinks and good music spread a lively and happy atmosphere among all the participants.
Each music group will get their own individual program – here you can see an example for the stay in Croatia:
Day 1: Arrival to the hotel. Check-in and dinner.
Day 2: Breakfast in the hotel. Guided tour in Pula. In the afternoon concert in the pedestrian zone of the city. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Rovinj and guided walk in the centre of this fishing village. Individual lunch or ship cruise. Concert in Rovinj in the late afternoon or evening. Farewell-dinner together with the other music groups from other countries.
Day 4: Departure or extension.
Extension: music&friends can offer you extensions in Istra, Italy or Austria. As usual, with further concerts and guided tours.
