“Cantate Croatia” 2015

May 22 – 25, 2015 Pula, Istra

Pula_arena {focus_keyword} Cantate Croatia 2015 Pula arenaIstria is the largest Croatian peninsula, so unique and special, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea which has deeply affected the soil wetting its coastline composed of many coves and islets. The city of Pula is located on the extreme south of the Istrian peninsula and it is a major harbour city, which offers a beautiful scenery and the most important monument in Pula is the “Arena” (Roman Amphitheatre), which also serves as a symbol of the city. Pula is about 100 km distant from Trieste and is near the national park Brioni islands. The 7th edition of the Choral Fesitval Cantate Croatia offered friendship concerts in concert halls or churches in or around Pula, which allowed you to meet other choirs and share the same passion fro choral singing. The final concert brought together all the participating choirs from different countries and nations.


Day 1: Arrival in late afternoon to the hotel in Pula. Meeting of the guide and check-in. Dinner at hotel. After diner – free time.
Day 2: Breakfast in hotel; meeting of the guide in the hotel and departure for the guided tour of Pula. After this, tour departure for the official opening of the Festival with a Welcome-Drink and refreshments. The afternoon is free for individual activities. Dinner at the hotel and departure for the friendship concert in or around Pula.
Day 3: Breakfast in the hotel; the morning is free for participants. In the afternoon preparation for the concert and rehearsals in the hotel. Departure for the final concert to the City Theatre of Pula together with all the participating choirs. After the concert, return to the hotel or to the restaurant for the optional farewell dinner with the other participating choirs.
